Definitions
Beneficiary:
The individual or entity in whose name the funds raised through the Campaign are transferred for the purpose of their treatment or support.
Campaign:
A fundraising initiative—monetary or in-kind—created on behalf of a patient or cause, promoted through the official communication channels of Shri Ramkrishna Paramahansa Seva Trust.
Campaigner:
The individual or representative who initiates the fundraising effort through Shri Ramkrishna Paramahansa Seva Trust to raise financial support for the patient.
Patient:
The individual undergoing medical treatment for whom the Campaign is initiated.
Donor / Funder:
Any person, group, or organization that contributes to a Campaign, either monetarily or in-kind.
Materials:
Includes all media and documentation such as photographs, videos, interviews, written statements, and medical records related to the Patient, Campaigner, or Beneficiary, provided with consent for the purpose of raising funds.
Platform / Site:
The official digital presence and social media channels of Shri Ramkrishna Paramahansa Seva Trust, including any associated donation portals.
User:
Any individual or organization that visits our platforms, donates, shares campaigns, or engages in any way with our fundraising initiatives.

Voluntary Donations
All donations made to campaigns are purely voluntary. Shri Ramkrishna Paramahansa Seva Trust strongly advocates for free will and human compassion in extending support. No donor shall be forced or coerced.Consent and Dignity
All video and photo content related to patients or animals used in our campaigns are created with full knowledge and documented consent from the individuals, their guardians, or legal representatives. We ensure every effort is made to uphold the dignity and privacy of those involved. Animal safety and welfare is a top priority during any campaign documentation.Sensitive Content Handling
We are committed to respecting the emotional sensitivity of our supporters. Any content that may potentially distress viewers is carefully blurred or restricted to those who opt to engage further. Our goal is to raise awareness, not discomfort.Variations in Treatment Cost
Medical treatment costs may vary from initial estimates. In rare cases where the patient unfortunately passes away during the campaign period, with the consent of the patient’s family, the remaining funds will be redirected to assist other critically ill patients in need, following our internal guidelines and with complete transparency.Service Support and Costs
As a non-profit institution, Shri Ramkrishna Paramahansa Seva Trust incurs certain operational costs, including digital outreach, due diligence, administrative staff, donor communication, and technical support. A nominal fee may be applied to ensure smooth and efficient operations that help us serve more patients in need.Payment & Processing Charges
All payments are subject to standard processing fees imposed by payment gateways and financial institutions. For international transactions, nominal cross-border or currency conversion charges may apply, as per the service provider’s terms. These charges ensure safe, secure, and traceable transactions for every donor.Awareness & Outreach Plans
When campaigns require extended reach through paid advertisements or promotions, a percentage of the funds may be allocated towards these outreach efforts. However, we ensure that no more than 9%–13% of the total funds raised is utilized for such promotions, ensuring that the maximum possible amount reaches the patient.80G Tax Benefits
Donations made to Shri Ramkrishna Paramahansa Seva Trust, a registered charitable trust, are eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
This means that donors can claim a tax deduction of 50% (or more, depending on the status of the trust) of the donated amount from their taxable income in the financial year.
To avail this benefit, a valid 80G receipt will be issued to every eligible donor after the donation, which includes PAN and donation details.
This benefit is purely for the donor and encourages voluntary giving by offering legitimate tax relief.
