1. Introduction
At Shri Ramkrishna Paramahansa Seva Trust (hereinafter referred to as “the Trust”), we deeply value the generous contributions made by our patrons, donors, and well-wishers. Donations received are used judiciously for the advancement of our charitable, spiritual, educational, and humanitarian objectives. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which payments or donations may be refunded.
2. General Policy on Donations
All donations made to the Trust are treated as irrevocable contributions towards our ongoing and planned service activities. As a not-for-profit organization, donations are not made in exchange for any goods, services, or commercial considerations.
Therefore, donations once made are generally non-refundable. However, under exceptional circumstances, refunds may be considered at the sole discretion of the Trust’s management.
3. Exceptional Cases Eligible for Refund Consideration
Refund requests may be entertained in the following limited scenarios:
Duplicate Transactions: If a donor has made a payment more than once for the same cause or event due to a technical or human error.
Error in Amount: If an incorrect donation amount has been debited (e.g., an extra zero added by mistake).
Unauthorized Transaction: If a donation has been made fraudulently using the donor’s financial credentials without their consent.
Cancelled Program/Initiative: If a payment was made towards a specific event or initiative that has been cancelled by the Trust.
4. Procedure to Request a Refund
A refund request must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the transaction date. The request should include the following details:
Full name of the donor
Date of donation
Amount donated
Transaction ID or payment reference number
Reason for requesting the refund
Proof of transaction (if available)

5. Refund Process
All valid refund requests will be reviewed by the Trust’s finance and compliance team.
If approved, the refund will be processed within 15 working days via the same mode of payment used at the time of the transaction.
The Trust reserves the right to deduct any applicable processing fees or transaction charges incurred during the payment.
6. No Refunds for In-Kind Donations or Services
Please note that donations made in-kind (such as food, clothing, equipment, etc.) or volunteer services rendered are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances.
7. Amendments to This Policy
The Trust reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice. All changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our official website.
